Ask-A-Lawyer Program  -  October 27, 2015

The Indian River County Bar Association, in conjunction with Florida Rural Legal Services, periodically provides free legal consultations to members of our community. Several Young Lawyers were on hand from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Indian River County Main Library to field questions in their respective areas of expertise on a pro bono basis.

Halloween Happy Hour  -  October 29, 2015

The Young Lawyers Division would like to thank Social Chair Brooke Benzio for coordinating our Halloween Happy Hour at Orchid Island Brewery. All members of the Indian River County Bar Association were invited to take advantage of an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company outside of the office or courtroom. The event was very well attended, and our membership looks forward to setting up similar get-togethers going forward.

Harvest Food Outreach Volunteer Event  -  November 7, 2015

The Harvest Food and Outreach Center is a local non-profit dedicated to serving those in poverty by providing a variety of educational, training, and support services. In the weeks leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday, our members showed their appreciation for this venerable organization by helping to repaint Harvest’s Indian River County “Life Enrichment Center.” We were also grateful for the opportunity to provide a $500 donation to help further the services they provide in our community.
